Peril of Time
With heavy eyes I write this
Hopelessly tired of everything around me
Time's ticking but there's little or no progress
Stuck in the space of time, doing so much but inadequate results
They said love will help you but love is a problem on it's own
They say talk to your friends but friends are conniving as they get
So I'm stuck in a peril of time
Time's ticking but there's little or no progress
They say family bonds and helps your journey easier
But everyone forgets that family has their own lives
With tired heart I think about this
With tired hands I type this
I don't know what I spend time doing
Yet I'm always so busy
My eyes hurt from previous tears
Still I am confused and hurt
Caught in my peril of time
